Agree, but it's biting to change the whole trim of the car just for one small piece.
At least BMW could give a choice for us immedly, not gradualy or say forget it coz we think it like this. It is not such a complicated thing to think it over from the very begining.

OK Iceman, where are you now, LA? You can't stay away! Guess the title "Addict" is right on.

Alohalc, Maybe you can keep your foglights off, and try to get Iceman to bring the part from LA for your "Magician" dealer, and say it was special delivery from Germany.

i'm sure i'll keep my foglights off. i'm looking for duct tape to tape over the switch. make sure i don't turn them on . it'll be nice to get the part from la but i don't want to "spoil" my dealer. next time if i want something, they'll tell me they can't find them and i have to look for them my own .

I think it would look good coming down from the dash all the way to the center console in wood, especially with a wood shift knob and e-brake.

I wouldn't like that. It would break the line of the dash board.

have you seen it on a 6 series? IMHO it looks great, i know the dashboard lines are different on both cars but i think it would look nice in a e60

i have grey interiors and i dont like it that there are wood pieces, grey pieces and black pieces, its just annoying to my eyes

I've seen gray pieces mentioned a lot -- what gray pieces are you folks talking about? The plastic surrounding the a/c and cd/dvd slots is always black. The piece under is now in wood anthracite/poplar. What gray pieces?

I have a hard time buying that the trim piece replaces the plastic surround from the air vents to ash tray.

I'm not sure what the Anthracite trim is made of, but believe it and the flat plastic are of two different compositions. I cant believe they're all one piece.

Are you guys sure of this ???
