Do you mind if I ask you how much you spent on the rims and tires? Thanks
I got the wheels from Gary (BMW of Newport) for around $1550. The tires i got from a place here in nashville that does a lot of custom work. I was going to get the tires from tire rack but I talked to this place about installing the Eibach springs and mounting the wheels & tires and they knocked a little of the whole thing. I think tires were around 670 or so. Of course i paid tax but they didn't charge me for moving my TPMS. Springs were 250. Install was kind of high - 300$. I probably could have done things cheaper but impatience got the better of me once i set things in motion with the wheels.
Oh yeah, shadowline trim was 220$ plus shipping (also from Gary). I installed it myself using the DIY here and it took about 3 hours. I am the least handy or confident person when it comes to working on a car in any way - especially one like the e60. But it was easy and is a must if you are coming from a setup like i started out with.
I had the wheels on for 4 days before i was able to get the springs installed - it didn't look that bad but I really felt like i needed to drop it to be completely satisfied with everything.
hope this helps.

Wow What a difference, I am planning on doing the same as soon as the weather gets better here. What eibach spring did you use?

Eibach Pro Kit - I think the drop was 1.2 inches all the way around since i do not have the sport package option.
