Hello Everyone,

I am looking to purchase wheels for my 2007 530xi in the next few days and need a little help.

I am looking for a set of 20" wheels and the wheel shop I contacted told me that my best option was to have them wrapped in 245/35/20 front and 275/30/20 rear.

The shop I called said that an offset of 20 would be fine for my 530xi. But I have started to read that it needs to higher for the XI. Does anyone know what I need?

Also, If I were to go with this setup will there be a large wheel well space left between the tire and fender? Will Springs be needed to make it look not so awkward?

Any and all your help would be very appreciated!!!

Sorry if this has been discussed already, I am a newbie.

That offset is a tad low. You need something in the 40s. Check out this thread, very informative.

Those tyre sizes are also bigger than the recommended, that are 245/30 R20 and 275/25 R20.
But I'm not sure if this is the case with the X models...?

Those tyres may fit nicely, but the wheel specs have to be right to avoid rubbing... I guess.

THANKS A LOT! That thread helped! I just ordered my wheels. I ended up doing a 20x8.5 & 245/35/20 in the front and a 20x9.5 275/30/20 in the rear. off set was set at 35. Crossing my fingers on the fit ment.

Do a search on my threads from 2+ years ago. I used to be the XI Guru on this forum. I have many posts/threads that should help you with what you need to know.
