I was at the BMW dealer today, to get an oil change.
While there, i was glancing through the new 5 Series Accessory Catalog.
In the catalog, they had some new wheel designs showing. One of them was a new M style wheel, which I liiked a lot.
It comes in 18" x 8" according to the catalog.
Here's my question:
I have a 545i SMG with SPort Package. It has 18" x 8" front wheels, and 18" x 9" rear wheels.
Does this mean these M style wheels won't fit my car?
It seems odd that they would list these wheels in the official 5 Series catalog if they won't fit, doesn't it?

I forget the model #
They are 18" M wheels. If you look at the car on the back cover of the Accessory Catalog, it has them on it.

I remember someone posting a link to a website which had all of the various BMW wheels shown.
If I could see that, I would know which model # they were.

No.... that site isn't the one. It's nowhere near as complete as what I'm talking about.
bmwwheels.com does not have the particular wheels I'm talking about.

I glanced into my copy of the accy cat & I see many normal wheels that are not available for the 545i. The "M" wheels in my catalog are all available for the 545i. They are the M135, M184 (not staggered) & M101 which can be used staggered. Hope this helps.

I found the cool BMW wheel page.
http://crass.on.ru/bmw/wheels/
Style 184 is the one I like. So it only comes in 8 inch wide?
Can I use them if my current rears are 9 inch wide?
