had these locks on my E46 and my GTI and they worked great. Each set has a different serial number that corresponds to that particular key/lock pattern. Very sturdy..just ordered another set for the E60

Hey guys, finally got a email response from ecstuning heres what they said;
Hello,
Thank you for the inquiry. the keys will be specific for each wheel lock set. They are half plastic and aluminum . When the key is tightened the inside of the lock closes in on the head of the bolt. preventing an sockets or other tools from removing the lug cover.
Thanks again,please let us know if you have any other questions.

Dumb question, but how are you suppose to torque them down......might be kind of tricky

You don't torque them they are caps that fit over your lug bolts
