my vote goes tot he forgestar F14 in matte black as well especially if you plan on sticking with 18". From a distance the matte black will mask the fact that the wheels are small because they blend with the tires. I have been tossing the idea around of getting the f14's in 18" for my winter setup.

With regard to the 18 vs 19 inch discussion, don't you guys with 19" wheels on your cars worry about potholes? I'm sure some of you guys have messed up your wheels. Also, the reason I'm getting new wheels is because the guys at the dealership told me outer lip damage is not repairable.

I also forgot to mention the BMW Performance Style 269 wheels.

Thoughts? My only concerns are size and potholes.

I've found that the brighter something is, the bigger it looks, and vice versa. Compare a white car next to a black car, or the white iphone next to the black iphone.
Right?

I personally would not hesitate to go with 19" wheels. You will still have a good bit of rubber there just don't go diving into every pothole in town and you will be ok.

What about 20s? I just went to a custom car shop and was looking at the TSW Nurburgring Rotary Forged wheels... Brandon Jacobs was there too and I was not sure if the 20's would fit on the car... he said do it.

Lots of guys here run 20's with no issues, you just need to make sure you get the right offsets and tire sizes

Why do guys run 19s if the tires are more expensive than 20s? And would a rotary forged wheel be better suited to these roads, even though it's a 20 inch wheel?
Also, should I go for the rotary forged 20s ? I can get those on Falk FK452s for 2000 mounted balanced at an excellent custom auto shop in the area. Or I can order some 18 or 19" wheels off of ebay.

I don't want to spend 4k on a set of wheels for this car especially while living in NJ. Got anything else in mind? I'm thinking about Forgestar F14s in gunmetal. I think it should look good. Have you heard good things about Forgestar?
