Is there a lot of road noise with Falken's?

i've changed to michelin PS2 245/40 18 from Dunlop RFTs and of course the ride is not as harsh anymore but somehow the cornering stability has become worse off quite drastically. Is it because of the new tyres not run in yet or that normal tyres sidewall are not as stiff as RFTs and hence the poor cornering stability at high speeds??? totally no confidence at all when cornering at high speeds now, car feels very unsafe... pls help...

m thinking to change back to RFTs...

btw m still using bmw rims style 135

even my slk230 on 17inch rim and tyres feel more stable at high cornering speeds

That is interesting because I switched to the sport pilot A/S plus and I know the corning is far superior to RFTs.
And they are merely the all-season version.
