My Ride: 2005 545i 6spd sport, nav, cwp, sirius, logic 7. on order 128 wheels non run flat tires.
Default

When my 545i 6 speed arrives i will replace the oem wheels and tires with 19"inch 128 wheels. I would like to use non run flat tires. During the past few months ther has been a lot of talk about tires. Can anyone suggest a good tire to buy for the new wheels. I had a 540i 6speed 2003 and had plenty of tire problems.I checked tire rack and narrowed it down but would like some suggestions from the experienced.

I too have style 128 wheels. The dealer put potenza's on it. They seem to be ok. I will either put these bridgestones or Michelin PS2 when I need new tires.

Also check out www.bmwwheels.com for more pictures of OEM Wheels, or www.tirerack.com to see 3rd party wheels and what they look like on the car.

dave zeckhausen at zeckhausen racing said putting 19 inch wheels on the e60 would change the handling and feel dramatically . is this true
