yeah I was going to go to different retailers monday to see if anyone carried the tire and would honor the price...i know my local mavis only hasd the plus version of the A/S which are about 70 bucks more...idk..i have my grandmothers H2 while she is in florida but idk how long that is for...I will find out though and hopefully its long enough where I can order the tires and have my 5 sit in the driveway until than.

Just a FYI, I actually tried to order the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S in the stock 225/50/17 size. It states it's special order, but I didn't really mind because I didn't NEED them now. Anyway, last night I completed the transaction and got a receipt, but this morning I received an email from a tire rack representative saying that the tires are now discontinued and that I can ordered the replacement version, which is $161 each tire. So it's not available anymore.

A replacement offer that is $60+ more each tire IMHO that doesn't = an offer ... the Pilot A/S is a good tire but there are other all-seasons at a reasonable price.

If a low price is important shop further down the TireRack list. Kumho Ecsta ASX is really cheap at $77 ... more money buys tires like the Dunlop SP Sport Signature that looks good at about $120.

well i liked the michelin pilot sports because they were a decent price and the performance from them was stellar...I am looking for a replacement OEM tire that definately beats the OEM performance because that tire IMO was garbage...very loose on turns...hydroplaned easily and not too comfortable with alot of road noise...I just want a good A/S tire that has comparable performance to the pilot sport...EAGLE F1 A/S??

alright so since these michelin pilot sports are basically out of the question...what you guys think about the eagle F1 A/S??? those seem to be a really nice tire..and the tires im replacing are both on the drivers side...it wont be a problem putting the two new on the rear and putting the pass rear onto the driver front? im sure I will get two more in a month or so anyway..
