So guys, since we never heard what happened, I followed the link and bought one of these dumb covers. I spent about 2 hours sewing this thing on.
Here is the outcome...
Pros: Feels amazing, real leather, much thicker than stock, price, fitment For 30 bones it was a great buy
Cons: My sewing skills suck and because of this its not perfect. Obviously it's not OEM

My Ride: BMW E60 530i
I've currently got a Sports Leather steering wheel but apparently there is a "Conversion Kit" from Sports Steering to M-Sports Steering. Getting this done for $950.00.
Luckily the air bag system and arrangement is the same as the M-Sport so I've saved heaps of money already.
