You have probably posted this elsewhere, but what is your winter setup?
135 anyway. Are they 245 40 18? Or thinner?

Thanks.

Looks really good now. Like someone said earlier, good looking STANCE!

Sad to hear from your new amplifier, is it possible to fix it?

Hey there, I have a question for you with regards to my set up. I just bought some 19 inch m5 wheels and I installed those exact hubcentric spacers, however I'm getting vibrations after 50mph. Do you think it's the cheap tires I bought with the wheels, champiro 235/35/19 and 265/30/19. I'm definitely going bigger, but how big can I go and wide. Can I run 245/40/19 and 275/40/19? My wheel guy said the vibrations is from too small tires, not hubcentirc spacers like you have. Any problems with vibrations? Any help and suggestion much appreciated!

Hi Mike,

Sorry can not help about vibration, but I want to say that I am runing Michellin PS3 245/40/19 at front with wheel offset 15 on stock m-sport suspension and have no problems at all. For rears if you want extra rubber the highest tyre what you can run is 275/35/19. BMW recomendation is 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 but if you want more rubber you can run 245/40/19 & 275/35/19 without problem with correct wheel offset, just to make sure that your speedo will show bit less than your actual speed is.

+1 what arix said.
245/40 R19 and 275/35 R19 may fit, but it really depends the offset and even the edge profile of the tyre. I would go with the recommended sizes to be sure.

It is possible to get vibrations from bad tyres, but I think it's BS that you could get vibrations if they're only marginally smaller than the recommended size. Few questions:
- are the wheels OEM? If not, are you sure the wheel's hub bore is 72,6mm instead of 74,1mm which is the hub bore size in the E39?
- is your spacer's hub bore 72,6mm? If the spacer fits snugly on the car's original wheel hub, then it is the correct 72,6mm. If it feels loose, then it's probably the E39 size 74,1mm which is wrong.
- have you got the wheels rebalanced? This is the most common reason for vibrations.

- Antti -

edit: I've run spacers for a long time and never had any vibration issues.

Hey Antti. Are you still running this setup for your winter deck this year around? I have a similar setup for my winter deck as you did last year and looking into getting spacers myself.

Thanks!
