My Ride: 07 BMW 525i Premium Package, Xenon Lighting Package, manual Transmission. Titanium Grey, 20% Tint around the back, 70% V-Kool on front.
Planned mods: Style 71 wheels with Toyo Proxy 4 tires, Sachs suspension upgrade, upgraded stereo, and many more to come.
Spend the Friday afternoon at Carlab and have them install my sachs suspension kit and BBS RGR wheels.
One word: Awesome!
It lowers the front by 1.5" and 1.2" in the back. The front is slightly lower than what I like, but way better than the stock non-sport suspension. The 19" BBS RGR looks great on it.
Yes, I need to take some pictures, give me a few days for them
Carlab in Santa Clara is so cool, thanks Darwin for getting the longer bolts and covers for me. The stock bolts is a little too short for the RGR, but Darwin find some longer ones and even have black covers for them, match perfectly with the diamond black finish
Also, nice to meet you too Freed0m, I finally meet the other eviltwin, hahahhahaha
The ride is stiffer and a bit noisier (noiser from the thinner tires), but it's better than what I thought. It will be nice if I do these two mods separately so I can see how each mod affects the handling. I didn't drive it too hard yet since I have my old wheels and suspension parts in my car on Friday, can't wait 'til Monday and do some more driving!
Next on my list is a short shift kit.....

With all the new changes you're making to your car, guess we won't be considered the Evil Twins anymore....
Kyle,
Glad you got your stuff installed. I was just at CarLab yesterday and he mentioned he worked on your car. I gotta see the finished product but I'll be in SF the next 2 weeks.

freed0m, ECF says the forbidden word too, the wheels are great, it's lighter and i can feel the car accelerates more freely so that will help my lowly 525i... my wife didn't ask about why my car looks lower
only bad thing is the TPM light is on few minutes I took off from carlab since the sensors are not in the wheels...
ECF, would like to check out your car too, let me know when you get back from SF
ro11dice, i worked in palo alto, so if you happened to see a tit gray 525i lowered, that could be me! alright time to debadge my 525i...

HAHA, you've seen my car with the 'new rims'. ECF and I are no longer the Evil Twins... Our ride is more like the Twinkies Twins BTW, my wife didn't notice my rims mod either!

I had the R10's done at Wheels Techniques in 'Powder Coat Liquid Black' and the lips polished all the way through the back
