Holy bejesus! That's more than we had, except we killed 9lbs of crawfish. You guys are pigs! Hahaha! Sounds like fun. Sorry I missed it. I told Danny boy you guys should make that a weekly Wednesday dinner.

There was 5 of us this time. That's why we ate more. And of course if a thread has EuroCarFan, cmansbimmer, Torquey5 and I it's only a matter of time before we deviate from the topic.

He's not an M5 wannabe! No M5 part allows on his car. But M5 car might be allowed in his garage

1. I would say the improvement was noticeable but not too significant. The front brace is identical to the factory bar and I even remember it felt the same weightwise. I did feel improved turn-in response after putting it on. I also felt the chasis was stiffer after the rear bar was installed. I used to have stuff in my trunk but they seemed to bounce around more with the stiffer chassis due to the rear bar so I took everything out.

2. I would send a PM to JetBlack. He used to work for Dinan and still has tight connections there.

I am here!!
Wow this topic got a ton of posts today, I just saw it.

1. Great car Tony, your choice of upgrades came together perfect.

2. Roleez - you better not stop there only have the two parts left that give the biggest improvements!!
If you are interested I will get you a deal

3. Great car Tony

4. All Dinan parts work for 2006-2007 550i (mine's '07)

5. You guys ate a lot of food, what restuarant is this?

It's my friend's restaurant in San Jose called Cajun Crab House. You local guys should check it out. They got a great menu of cajun foods. Man, I can still go back there today and have more crawdads.

Ok, I will be there in a couple of weeks.
Maybe we can get Roleez to meet there and talk him into the 3.45 diff and flywheel!!!

Oh man, you guys are just too hilarious!! I really do want my car to be a true Dinan showcase but the tax hit this year was just way too punishing that it really put a damper on my spirits ... not to mention my near-future Dinan plans for the car. And it doesn't help that the real estate market is stuck in neutral when you're trying to sell some out of state property so that I can buy a new home. So for the time being, I just feel stuck. Hopefully the financial picture will improve come summertime/fall so that I can have Steve Dinan take my car (this time with me in it) for another 175 mph run! And JetBlack, I WILL be taking you up on that offer!

Nice to know you drove home to Emeryville from San Jose after drinking all that. Hey T/J - Next time, let this guy crash on your couch. He shouldn't be driving...whether he thinks he's sober enough or not. Sorry, off topic again.

I could eat 10lbs of crawfish, kitchen sink style, by myself...no problem! That place is the bomb!
This is just tooo EASY.... Must resist.

Yeah, we're going to have to insist that he crash at either mine or ECF's place next time.
