dominc do you know anyone in SouthFlorida that can install it? also where do you insert the dvds to be played? and if i want to add an extra screen like behind the arm rest, can that be done with the same unit? and have the rear showing the movie and the front with idrive? sorry for all the questions

Any shop can install it, it is plug and play. You the supply ANY video source you like to be displayed on the screen. Yes you can add headrest monitors. Feel free to call me at 718-763-7367.

Would this unit supply a suitable preamp output which could be used to run an upgraded car stereo system?
Example.... if I wanted to replace speakers, amps, and everything.... but keep the factory stereo volume control, and iDrive.... would this unit give the preamp output needed to send to the aftermarket amps?
If so, does Logic 7 present a problem? (ie processing)

You can add whatever video sources you like. You have 3 video source V3 is for backup camera and auto switches when you put the car in reverse. 2 audio inputs and 1 audio output. You should be fine if you use the audio out as a preamp output. We can do a group buy and combine the E60 and E90 group together if you like but I am still trying to complete the I-Driver controller.

I am sorry I did misunderstand your question. The reason for the remote is because the I-Drive controller is an option. If you don't get the controller you get a remote. We are trying to come up with I-Drive sequences so you can turn the unit on and make the video selections. The problems has been to make sure the these sequences and NOT used in other parts of the counrty.

is the i-drive controller complete? any ETA on when it will be complete? i would like to hook up a navigation unit to the video in. what type of connector is the tvandnav2go? do you know of any nav system that i can hook up to your unit?
