Thanks Juice, I did see the summary but like doof said we need a proper DIY.
I am no good with electrical jobs otherwise wouldve tried this myself.

We are waiting for someoen to do this so that we can do it too. There must be some electrical experts here ??!?!!

I was looking for some e60 parts and saw this in the lighting section of CA automotive, basically its a wiring harness that makes you angel eyes come on and off with your interior lights, so it would achieve what we are trying to do i believe, is quite cheap aswel, at around $40, i believe its a um-nitza kit so maybe available from them directly.

ok, 2 diodes in wires from 53-54 pins of BASIC BODY MODULE.
but where to put other 2 diodes? i think to wires from LCM to angel eyes before attached wires from BBM.

Wow this is still going...I was going to make an attempt at this mod. it involves lots of electrical testing to avoid frying valuable components.

I was just looking at the same mod and what I don't understand is why don't you just use the cable as posted by kadafi39?

or is there something that I am missing, i.e. a feature which this cable does not have, but hellraiser's solution has?

I still wonder myself which option to choose (umnitza cable or software) but I am wondering why aren't you guys considering any of these?
