My Ride: 2008 528i, Space Grey, Nav, PDC, Premium, Sports, Grey Leather, Xenon, Cornering...
So I got the Amber version of Jlevisw LED turn signal w/resistor and it turned out great. Thanks to Jlevisw and Nixdoof for his DIY. I have an LCI model and it works great! I do get an error message but it is only for a second. Then it does not come on again until I turn off the car and restart.

They look great man!
But you still get an error message? hmm.. that's odd. shouldn't be getting one. Mind taking a pic of how you set it up?

I will probably take pics tomorrow. I did follow your instructions to the letter. I think it is an LCI thing... Kind of like the LED plate lights... Or, maybe it is the resistors? I ordered the whole kit from Jlevisw, resistors and all.
Without the resistors, they were flashing like they had somewhere to go... Instead of three flashes, it would flash six times. When I put the resistors in, they went back to normal.

Thanks guys, sorry C. I like it a lot!!! now, if I could only get some Amber eyebrows...
