Nice car man! I've been wanting to do those two inlets in my car too, just couldn't get a hold of one.

Richard, you can buy the covers with the holes from the dealer but it's like $35 a piece.

I've seen those but the holes looks weird, Rd sport has them for like 50 bucks it's also available in titanium and CF for more $$$. Ryan said his going to call me back but he hasn't or did not.

Hey Guys,

I'm new to the E60 forum. I have a BMW 545i SE, 2004.

I have had it for a few months and have done a few modifications.

I would like to know what u guys think? Remember, my car is still in progress.

Also would appreciate any feedback and recommendations for future modifications.

This is my first ever post, so be nice.

Thanks guys,

If you look at your M Tech bumper, there are two removable pieces on each side of the lower center grill and those are the ones that can be replaced by OEM covers that have a hole in them for the adaptive cruise control sensor. The RDSport ones are essentially pipes where you'll have to cut holes in the honeycomb grill to fit them through. You probably know that but just wanted to give you additional info.

how did you get the holes in the grille? I like that look, it makes it look mean to me!
If any of you remember stonefaces Acs 545i he done it on his car he made the mod himself out of oem parts and also done it for prince naz.

Yep, all credit goes to Stone Face and Westside for all their help with the mods. Westside has been on my case for ages to get the washer covers put on, but i've been busy studying at university, therefore have not had any free time.
