Depending on the look and type of solution you are wanting, I'd recommend WheelSkins as an alternative. It is a leather wrap and lacing that you put on over your existing wheel.

I went with the two-tone (Euro-tone I think they call it), non-perforated... so if you want the real sporty look, you can get perforated leather as well. You can choose your color or colors, even which color is where if you go two-tone.

I have the Dakota Auburn interior and was a little concerned how close the color would be, but it really was pretty dead on. The only thing that gets a little sloppy is around the sides and bottom where it connects, but I really don't mind.

Funny, I was just looking at these earlier this afternoon.
I had this on my E39 in her later years and was really
pleased with the result.

I really like that look in your car. It looks really good
I was on the fence between the perforated/non version.
Which size did you go with? Looks to be a perfect fit.

I think this looks totally bootleg, bro, sorry...

but I still can't make up my mind. I wish someone would put out a DIY of installing the extra padding and the leather, so I could just buy the padding, the leather, the stiching and any additional material/tools and just do it myself...
