New leather on steering wheel

I have looked for pre 9/05 M-steering wheels but did not want to spend 750 euro's for a wheel with a used airbag. The only thing I wanted was a thicker wheel with nice leather and now I have found a German ebayer that sends a wheel with new leather and asks for a deposit that you get refunded as soon as you send the old wheel back. I wish I had done this earlier

That looks great!! I need to do something like this really bad. Don't know of anyone in the states who does that. I'll have to check it out. But, really brilliant!!
Also, how did you get rid of the silver pieces on the center of the wheel?? Looks really good all black.
