I bought the E60 a few weeks back and as with all my cars I needed to do some mods

I spent a while trawling through these forums and ebay and amassed all the bits I wanted, and the last couple weeks I have been interstate and left my car to some mates to run around getting stuff done while I was away

I still havent seen this in person myself yet, I got a friend to snap off some pics while I am interstate.. But here are the latest things going on in my E60 world (20x10 & 20x8.5 Vertini Concave rims, Pirelli PZero Tires, ACS boot lip, ACS roof spoiler, ACS kit, 2x Earthquake underseat subs, 1x Rockford fosgate 12in sub, 3x Rockford Fosgate amps, Morel front and rear speakers, Soundstream 20 Farad Cap, MTX REQ5 audio processor, LED smoked side markers, LED plate and interior lights, Carbon badges and LCI tails and V6.1 cables (Thanks Bruce ). Pics are here:

Things that have been bought but still awaiting installation are: BC racing coilovers, LED angels, HID fogs, and the stereo isnt in yet .. Then Im chasing an exhaust and some kind of iPod interface. Then I think I'll be finished with what I want on this.. Hopefully

When I get back into town Ill grab some pics with something other than a mobile phone and post them up

Mark

Not feeling ACS kit, should have went with M-Tech.

Nobody in Australia wants modified BMW's so I wanted to be able to return it to stock. Thus I opted for a Lip kit only so I could undo it when it comes time to sell. Its true the ACS wouldnt have been my first choice, but to convert to a proper MTech kit would have been a massive $$ and to be honest I figured it would be easier to get a perfect fitting lip kit than a full set of mtech replica bars etc (genuine over here would have been insane $$). These cars over here are already over M5 prices in the USA (around $40,000 USD stock).

At any rate, I just wanted it to be a little different from the norm and spice it up a tad

The last 2 pics looks like its Christmas.

I feel ya over the LCI Lip job over M-Tech. I just moved out to Sweden and modding cars in general is a little hard to come by so if I ever sell the ride in the future I want to be sure I can convert it back to stock.

BTW what sort of LEDs did you get for your back reflectors? I am thinking of covering mine but what you do looks cool.

Also if I may ask did you purchase your ACS kit local or was it shipped over?

Everything is looking great!

Believe I found the LED reflectors now on http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320671910617#ht_4154wt_1163. Are yours similar?

different seller but essentially the same. I didnt make mine myself

i do like them though, itd be nice if they were a rod like in the tails, but it beats a black/red area that does nothing in the bar.

Wow, you went all out

Looks good man.

You car could now use Shadowline trim to match the wheels.

Exhaust is on the list of to-do

the magnaflow system I can get from the USA cheap for around $600 but the shipping is like $600

other alternative is a custom system I was quoted at $800 (muffler section only), but trouble being that then that cant be returned to stock easily, so I'm not sure what I will do..

Hoping the coilovers arrive soon so I can drop it

Im still not 100% sold on the rims yet, I may change to machined style of some sort at a later date, so I will see how these look in person before I make any official judgement on it

Also considering the black kidney grills as well..
