New iPod interface avaliable for the 3,5,6, and 7 Series
>Who needs a professional to do THAT?
That was my thinking as well
I plan to buy the Dension and fit it myself though it would be great if someone had posted pictures here on which panels to unscrew and how to go about it. Last time I looked on here I couldn't find anything on that topic.

>The problem for those who don't have cd changer is that they need to have CD changer as a prerequisite.
You mean a prerequisite for the Dension or BMW I-pod interface? I don't think so, where did you read that?

My dealer offered me the ipod interface for an August installation date. He indicated no loss of cd changer.
The ipod will sit in the glovebox with power and adapter...fingers crossed.

Is there any way to keep your Sat radio and have the Ipod Interface installed?
I contacted my local dealer in California about the interface but was told there is no such item for the e60.

But www.ipodyourbmw.com does say that it can't be used with the cd changer and/or SIRIUS radio.
