for AE's I'm going to stick to V1 8500K (still have an extra set)

if you are set on purchasing V2's consider a lower temp, 7500K perhaps if you want closer to white/less blue...

can't really capture the difference via camera (i tried), that's why I didn't post any comparison pics V1 vs. V2
the V2's are slightly bluer than the V1's, but just slight, its not a major difference

^it's enough to notice, trust me....I've had my fair share of testing different bulbs for LCI AE's...

I am wondering how V2 7500K will look

I have a set of V1 and V2 GP Thunder 8500K H8 bulbs which I ordered a month or so ago and ran for a few days (V2.) The V1's weren't in for more than 5 minutes as I bought them to do as side-by-side comparison, but opted for the V2. I'm now back to stock due to a reoccurring lowbeam malfunction, and I don't want to risk voiding my warranty with aftermarket bulbs. I'll let either set go for $10 plus shipping, or $15 plus shipping for V1 and V2.

Really that's odd ...but wait the GP Thunder H8 is parking light while the Bi-Xenon is the low-beam ... unrelated problem maybe?

Let me rephrase. I'm not blaming the GP's for the lowbeam malfunction. I ran the same style bulbs on my 550i for the better part of a year with zero issues. I simply don't want to risk voiding my warranty by running any aftermarket bulbs in a vehicle that has shown to be prone to headlight malfunctions (twice in 9 months.)
