Hi everyone
I'm new to this forum, I've been searching for a few days and have found a few things I'm looking for. I come from e46fanatics forum and I am going to be trading my e46 for a CPO 2004 530i.
I was wondering if anyone here has experience with remus single exhaust (which seems the popular choice here) and how it sounds compared to rogue engineering dms exhaust (which I have on my e46)?

thanks, still trying to get used to some of the differences in this forum compared to the e46fanatics forum, there is I lot less members on here I've noticed and seems like not as many people into modding their e60's.

As far as exhaust, the single Remus is considered a good value. I found my B&B used on ebay for a great price or I would have bought the Remus. Supersprint was the other system that I liked, but it was more $. I like my B&B though so would recommend it be one to consider. I don't think I ever heard a Rogue exhaust on an E46 to compare. There are several people with Remus single exhausts so someone will probably chime in.
Good luck and welcome.

I'm an ex-e46fanatic member who moved over a couple years ago. Things are a little different here and with this car. I have modded mine very much like I had done my 330i. It's a different car though and to be totally honest if I had it to do over I would have tried to get into an E60 335i. I got a great deal on the 530 and it is a lot more car than a 3 series -- but being "more car" is part of the issue. Suspension mods help a lot (and active roll bars with the sport package work well), but it will never be as tossable as a 3. If you are coming out of a 328 or 330 you may be disappointed with the power on a 2004 530.

nice to see some other former e46er's, I going from a 2003 325xi (slowest e46) to the 2004 530i so the 530i felt peppier then I expected, also |'m only moving to a 530i because I need something bigger. I'll have to take a look at the B&B exhaust.
Thanks for the welcome.
