My Ride: 2014 X5 xDrive 5.0 M Package Carbon Black Metallic/2008 M Roadster Imola Red
I think he should be able to shift as low at 6,350 RPM with a bit of practice unless he is powershifting. I shift about there or even a tad later on the Z06. But, of course, I have been shifting fast and hard forever. And, yes, hitting the rev limiter will cost big time time.

I am going to start testing again soon--in the morning actually--to see if my car is learning, etc. And, grogan has indicated using some new techniques, etc. I see no reason for our testing to be relegated to this discussion. It seems to me that what we are doing is main-stream stuff. That is, we are testing 5ers--without the emphasis being on mods. So, after I do my tests in the morning, I am going to start a new testing thread in the main discussion. This thread is getting too long anyway.
