Welcome aboard Tennessee! Thanks for the pics. You've learned well... Don't talk about mods etc. unless you are gonna post pics. Quick learner grasshopper! Now you MUST change the kidneys to black. I have the silver on black... but still have stock 124's. The black kidneys look much cleaner, IMO. On your car... A MUST! Remove about 30 torx screws and the radiator covers and it is a piece of cake. 30 minutes tops and no busted knuckles!

Thanks for the install tips.. I actually just purchased the black grilles last week! Hadn't gotten around to an install since my car has been in buddy's garage for the last week waiting on the wheels to be done. Can't wait to get that done..

Much Thanks to Ollie 535D for these original pics and instructions! I hope you don't mind me re-posting your pics.
Tennessee, these are the instructions that I followed BUT, I took the disassembly a little further to make removal of the kidneys as easy as possible.
This first pic is Ollie's disassembly. I found this to be helpful, but still didn't give me enough room to comfortably reach behind the grills and unlock the tabs.
This second pic shows the additional torx screws I removed. This allowed me to remove the radiator covers and allowed me to reach my entire arm behind the grills and release bottom and side tabs without the need for tools or scraped knuckles. I have circled in white the torx screws that Ollie refers to in his instructions. I removed the additional screws circled in blue
Hope this helps.
