to 5series.net.

Congratulations on your E60. I think it looks beautiful. My only suggestion in terms of appearance mods would be to replace the chrome trim with shadowline trim.

As far as ECU reflashes go, many members here have done them with good success. If you use the search function, you will find a lot of prior threads on posts on it.

Welcome ... you should have no regrets about the 6 cyl engine in your e60. You may be slower 0-100kph but overall driving experience will be enhanced by BMW's engine and drivetrain and great handling. I agree with others that the additional silver/chrome trim may be distracting so if you keep the exterior changes moderate the first suggestion I'd make would be changing to the shadowline trim around the windows ...

Wheels look pretty cool but I'm mixed on the chrome / silver strip across the tail.

Enjoy your time on the forum and once again

Welcome to the forums and congratulations on your new car! It looks great!
Could you please tell us something about those wheels! They look like 19", but what are the widths?
I would be also interested about the width of the lips in front and rear wheels !

Cars are way more expensive in Europe than here and big displacement engines are taxed big time there -- hence so many small displacement turbo diesels over there.

Thank you guys Maybe the european edition of E60 has the line on the back, I'll pay attention when I see other on the road!
The grill in front (kidney) is changed, i believe it is from a 2008 model. They are chromed, instead of the original black.
Welcome and congrats, nice car.
Btw the European edition doesn't come with a chrome lid on the back.

Congrats on the new car and enjoy the forums!! BTW, I would have to say the chrome strip on the back is an aftermarket addition!
