Can I be the back up? You know how flaky Vlad is. He might have sold his car by then.

Gee, thanks John, you come out with new AE's right after I just bought some?!?!?!
+1 +1 Imagine! I buy a set from John on Friday and on Saturday he's like "oh, these new ones are gonna be coming in in a week"... I'm like

I'd be intrested if we can get confirmation on the brightness of them or see pics
We'll test them and take some pics day/night on Friday and will have a complete report.

Word is that you won't even be able to look directly at the pictures of these - that's how bright they are supposed to be

So do you just unscrew the old lamp and screw in the new marker? no big taking apart of the lights?
Sorry for the novice question. Just want to know if it something I can fit myself.

FIY: taking out the headlight is not THAT complicated if you're ok with your hands and have the tools. However, to replace the AE bulb you don't have to take the headlight out - you could, but you don't have to. It will take a bit longer to get the bulbs to "click" into place though (even though last time John did it on my car in like 3 minutes - I didn't even have enough time to find a suitable place nearby to take a piss LOL ). As pertaining to these particular bulbs, all the information points to them being "plug'n'play", which means, yes - its as simple as replacing a bulb.
