I found a set of wheels but in order to make them work, I need to mount 10mm out back. I was on turnermotorsports website and they said that this size, in particular, could be dangerous to run because of the way it seats itself on the hub. Furthermore, they state it leaves a gap and they advise to go up to a 12.5mm, which won't work for me. I am asking this because the caution is not specifying which model BMW's are effected. So has anyone run a 10mm spacer on the rear of their e60 without ill effects?

I just installed 10MM spacers on my rear last weekend, no problems so far.

Honestly I have seen ppl run 30mm spacers with no issues so you will be fine with 10mm. GL

I've been running 15mm with 172s for a year now, and no problem.
