I have a non-sport 545 that I just love.
I bought it new late in 2004, so I still have some warranty left.
The car has been pretty much trouble free and I still enjoy driving it.
I see the new facelift 550 with the M Sport Package and think it is quite nice, but I think I would be better suited waiting for the new F-10 release in two or three years.
So if I decide to keep my 545 I would like to mod it some just to renew my passion of ownership.
I would like to know if anyone has had the Dinan Suspension Mod as well as the Wheel upgrade, and do you think it was worth the cost ?
An updated 550 would cost about 30 K with my car in trade, the mods would be about 10 K .
10 K upgrade would give me a renewed interest and make the wait till the f-10 easier, spending another 30 K on a upgrade in the 550 only to trade it in for a new 5 series down the road seems like a bigger hit in the exchange.
How about some expert advice regaurding the Dinan mod's.

The closest person I can think of is Roleez. He has the 550i with all the Dinan mods, I believe. He probably didn't see this thread. Why don't you PM him?

Knowing the Dinan parts very well, you would see a huge improvement over stock. "Night & Day" is a good term to use
Most BMW owners think of Dinan as a engine tuner, but he actually started by tuning suspension systems over 30 years ago! Steve says that there are a lot of aftermarket "tuners" out there but very few actually understand the dynamics of suspension systems. If you want to go way into depth about suspension's and misconceptions send me a PM.
Anyways if you go to Dinan for the suspension you would be completly happy, whatever your needs may be their systems are great.

ECF,
You came to mind first with all your Dinan mods but then I remembered you have KW coilovers and R10 wheels so I didn't mention you.
