the part no i have is 65 15 6 933 295
This is the part no from the multimedia upgrade kit but thie seperate item ie.the bracket is unavailable in the dealer list of available parts, but is included in the kit.
enclosed is a picture i have taken from a forum mnembers car ,it has been photographed many times with some minor changes so i am thinking this part is common to e60 models prior to this kit of parts.
also maybe available in uk under another or maybe correct no for part.
Please guys look in boot if you have the cubbyhole trim on the left side of car i would guess you will have this bracket fitted. CAN YOU LOOK FOR PART NO. ON IT FOR ME PLEASE.

thanks no replys escept yours but i have sourced this number 65 12 8 370 925 which is part of a new dvd system for back seats kit no. 65 12 0 406 360 but i believe its been around under other guises ,
in this case with add on spacers it will take dvd changer which is 01 29 0 032 836 .
i have installation instructions if anyoneinterested obtain instruction sheet no.65 12 0 406 359 for retrofit kit.
this is the advanced dvd system. back of seat monitors not headrest inserted.rear boot dvd changer and video switcher remote controlled but not front seats.
maybe you could also check the power12 volt take off point that they used on your system.in the trunk. hows the headrest fitting going looking forward to more photos.
