Keep them as is. When you get bored, go brushed, then finally powder coat. It should be very difficult for them to change the exhaust tips.

Here's few pics taken last spring when I was installing my quad setup. I knew I wanted the tips matte black, but along the way they were brushed aluminium for a moment. Not quite finished, but sanded down anyway...

Leave chrome. As someone else stated the contrast looks good.

A little off topic, is this your car? What wheels and size are they? Looks great!

Not my car. Mine looks very similar, just with VB3 wheels.
