did you follow the DIY in the link you sent me or is there a different one.
You can probably do it yourself, because the E90 shifter is the same as the E60. the only downside of this mod is the expensive shift knob. =)

ok can you send me the info on the plug and play cable... the shift knob comes in the M6?, do you know what year.. maybe i can pull it off a dismantle vehicle yard for cheap.

You can also contact member Schulrog. He has a 6 series and also made a cable for the shifter for the SMGknob. =)

He makes the kit too and this is his website. (Just for the cable for the shifter)

Dont forget, you still need that cable to retrofit the shift knob to work. (lighting up and all.)
