so today i was a douche and bumped into a trailer hitch on a car and dinged up my front bumper to the point where i need a new one!
i have a 2004 530i
i have the standard bumper i was looking at M style bumper for the front now since its the most cost effective, unless anyone knows better. I found one on trinity auto sports page for 349$
the question i have is, is it a simple swap? like pop off one put on the other with no modifications of any kind????

My Ride: 528i, m5 style front, side skirts, and mtech rear. 5% dark tints, matte black grills, w/matte diffuser. Black/white Emblems, Shadowline Trim, Ksport Coilovers,
Ya its pretty much plug and play, you use your current bolts and stuff. Just gets transfered over other then that, Fitment is like 99% but looks sick. Go for it. I got mine from Trinity as well. Got for the sides skirts too, you wont regret it.

I heard M5 fenders are 10mm wider. a good shop may be able to 'massage' the M5 bumper to fit your non-m5 fender, but it will not be perfect. i think you'll also need a fender bracket.
is this true?
is it a pain to match the bumper and fenders
anyone have pics of their non M car with a m style bumper

basically I want to know which style bumper will fit on a non M
2004 530i and will fit nice and easy
I heard the M tech bumper is made for non M cars and fits perfect
but the M style bumper doesnt fit perfect because the M cars have a 10 mm (1 cm)
wider front quarter panel fender
just looking for the best bumper for the price with the least hassel
looking for direct fit

M bumper dude. No question about it.
I mean if you have to replace the bumper, why would you even think about getting the same stock one.
