Post

Hi, this is my first post in this forum but I read them all the time, I finally got away from my old E46 and got me a 2004 E60 530i.

Questions: I have the sport package and I want to lower my car using springs, I also want to buy 20x9 front and 20x10 rear I dont want my tires to rub even if I have 4 people in the car. I was wondering what sizes tires you guys would recommend , I'm also looking at this springs http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/H-R-Sport-S...sspagenameZWDVW
how much can I expect for labor on the springs?

please advice, love this forums!

Houston Texas.

welcome. congrats on the 530. the link you provided for ebay, it says those springs are for the 545 though. h&r sport springs for the 530i would lower the car 1.4" in the front and 1.3" in the rear. others can chime in about the wheels and tires and costs. good luck with the mods.

The springs you found on ebay won't work. They're H&R Sport springs for a 545i. 525/530 have different part number. As for what tires to run, go with 245/35/20 and 285/30/20. What wheels are you getting and what are the offsets?

200-250 on spring install. You can purchase H&R springs on tirerack also too. For wheels, there are plenty of brands, and it depends how much you can dish out. again btw

You shouldn't have a problem finding the right springs on ebay. If you're not sure come back and ask here first. The offsets are fine.
