Unhappy

Okay I know a few of you are gonna want to slap me as I said I was going 166's, which I am if I get any negative feedback on this last wheel request.

But we are all family here, so i can be honest, Id rather spend $1200 then $1600 on some rims if I think I can!

I really like these wheels, they are "Eurosport Euro 17" below it the link to the wheel and I have attached a picture.

I am trying to figure out what the offset of these wheels are and if they would look pretty flush w/o spacers??? Does anyone on here have these rims, what are your thoughts as far as looks and performance? Any issues?

I tried talking to the sales guy on the phone, and the dumb ass insisted the hubs on my E60 where 74.6 and not 72.5. I tried to tell him that I would need ring hubs, and he was like "are you really gonna believe some people on a forum?" At that point it really showed how stupid that guy was, if he only knew how knowledgible my fellow board members were.

Anyway I dont really have to buy from these guys, but I cant find wheel specs on the net for these, so I figured I'd take it to the streets.

Let me know fellas.

(oh and by the way if i find the offsets are not really good or get bad feedback on these wheels, my next move is to call Garry)

+1 right on, Hartge reps. If you need hub rings, get the 166 instead.

STOP ALREADY! j/k

I kept going back and forth as well when I was making up my mind on which wheels to get.

I say stick with your original thought...the 166's. I went with my original thought and I am very happy with it. Good luck with your decision!

Not to rip on the Hartge or anything, but personally, I think the use of exposed bolts on wheels is getting a little played out. It was hot when BMW put them on the 3 series back in '03 or whenever, but now they are everywhere. It seems like the trend now is moving away from that look as well as the deep dish lip and going towards wheels like the 166s and 128s that have more curvature to them and have spokes that meet the tire. Just my $.02.

I say get the 167s over the 166s, however.

These are hartge classic replicas. I have the original ones on my car right now. On 20s. I have some low res pic posted on the board somewhere. I'll see if I can find it.

Here it is: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...mp;#entry545595

Gotta tell ya tho, pain in the butt to keep clean.. but nice wheels!!
