can your guys help me with some ideas on mesh design wheels. im looking for a average to deep lip mesh design wheel for my alpine white 530i. all chrome or chrome lip with black are both ok with me. im not interested in all black cause then ill have to eliminate all the chrome on the car (dont like the way all black rims look with a car that has other chrome trim, ie-factory grill and window trim) and i dont want to start painting and installing shadowline.

ive looked at bbs but i feel that the all the mesh designs dont extend to the lip making the wheel look smaller than it is. i also looked at privat wheels by konig but they seem cheap. checked out maya rims and they had some nice wheels but i cant decide. im not lookin to break the bank cause im gettin married in less than year and my fiance is putting every dime she makes away for a house while im on the computer pricing sprintboosters and acs kits. so droppin 5k on rims wont go over well with the future wifey. any ideas would help and pics would be great...thanx in advance.

How about a set of the Beyern Mesh Wheels? These can be done in 18", 19" or 20" for your car with a black center and polished lip.

You need to know about offsets. If you go with the "standard" 19" setup, it's pretty basic. You need around ET12-ET18 in front and anywhere from ET17-ET32 in the rear....the closer to the lower number will give you the most push out to the fenders with actually rubbing. This assumes a 245/35/19 tire in front and a 275/30/19 in the rear.

A wider tire like a 285 will fit in the rear as well, but then you'd need the higher offset in the rear wheel itself...like ET22 at minimum.

Not all "off-the-shelf" aftermarket or OEM wheels come in all offsets, though. Most aftermarket rims are set at ET15, 20, 30, 40, etc. OEM are from ET12, 18, 28, 32, etc. And of course there's total custom wheels, made to your specifications...big bucks.

Find a specific wheel maker and wheel that you are interested in, then you (we) can figure out the offsets needed.

There is no shortage of WHEEL THREADS or pictures on this forum to search for ideas....

If you're not looking to break the bank, MRR-GT1 may be another option,
