Need help with angel eyes and other things - 2004 BMW 525i
Hey, i have a barebone stock 525i 04. I do not have angel eyes on them... I need to know if i am able to somehow get them on my car w/o having to replace the entire headlight. Also, i am looking to gain more hp and acceleration. I would like to know 5 items i should put on the car first to make it faster... also i live in NC and would like to know where i can get bmw aftermarket pieces (I.E. body kit)
also just general modding knowledge you could give me on my car would be nice

You could start with an AFE intake for the car to gain a little horsepower.
For angel eyes, you're pretty limited - the only way to upgrade your lights is a retrofit kit and angel eyes and that is going to require cutting them open.

2. 100hp nitrous shot
3. Quaife LSD
4. Gutted interior
5. 11 inch rear tires for traction
If you do those, you will gain more hp and acceleration.

Oh yea, forgot about that one
OP, in all seriousness just enjoy your 525i for what it is. If you spend thousands of dollars and gain 35 bhp, you'll still be down on power to a stock 530i. It's simply not worth the money or effort.
The upside is you have an M54 under the hood, arguably the most DIY friendly and reliable engines the E60 was ever sold with in the US.

Congrats on the car and welcome to the forum. I have the same car, and while its not the fatest out there, it can be made to feel nice and not feel that sluggish. I would recommend a sprint booster first of all with adjustable setting. It doesn't actually increase HP but definatley makes it feel more sprinted. I would NOT recommend a AFE intake, its proven to lose HP on a dyno. If you want to do a exhaust don't go the cheap route, I've had the custom magnaflow replacing the resonator and I actually lost power and it didn't sound good. I've since switched to a RD sport quad, which really helped with how loud it was. It sounds really good, and I actually feel like I increased HP with it. The car feels really good now. The RD sport is hard to find but I'd also recommend a remus exhaust or maybe RPI if you aren't going quad. If you have the balls you can cut open the highlight to mod it. I did it very early on and made some mistakes, but there is probably better info since then on methods for doing so. Alternatively you could have nomis mod it, he does good work. The engine itself is really reliable and one of the best made, its just other stuff you have to worry about going out or failing.
If you want to improve the audio functionality in the car greatly, I highly recommend the Dension gateway. It allows you to display playlists in iDrive and use your iPod.
