Hey guys currently i have a 525I non navigation 2004, i want to do the navigation with the 8.8 screen, what exactly do i need as far as parts wise. And Labor Wise

I have one suggestion. Use a feature on here called S****H. There are plenty of people who have done this.

i had the same as you...ie: a 530d with non nav

i put a full system in my car and it is very easy, the only hard part was fitting the i-drive (high) controller, it was a pain in the ar*e, you have to remove the centre consol/handbrake, and that took over an hour, but apart from that it was a doddle.

but you will need to have it all "set up" ie: re-programed by a dealer or indipendant with the diagnostic software (not too expensive)

i bought all the bits (twice as i bid on 1 system and then bought another compleate lot before the auction ended....and then won that auction also.. )

its so much better having a 8.8 screen with all the functions
