That's what I would have thought, but these honestly don't appear too bright. Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me as a result of the different color, but they do not appear brighter. I actually have stock on one side and MyCarr on the other side right now. I happened to be taking my car to the dealer so I asked if they would install these for me and they did one side and then realized that they should be charging for it and called me to ask and I declined to pay. So I have a good comparison right now. Unfortunately, I can't seem to capture a good photo using my phone. Both headlights just appear blurry. I'm sure there are some settings that should be changed.
I think I just realized what I don't like about the white MyCarr AE's is that during the day it looks the same as the shiny chrome (or whatever it is) housing. So you can barely tell if a light is on or if it is a sunlight reflection off of the housing. Though the stock yellows are not bright, at least they look like a light is on.

anything out there is brighter than stock lol
Not entirely true. Lookwise, white AE is better than stock yellow. But stock is more visible in daylight than white color. Personally, I wouldn't spend more than $100 for A.E. for pre LCI. They're all pretty much the same. GP thunder and HID work for LCI only.

OP has pre LCI and you have LCI.
HID A.E. is not an option for him, at least not at this point.

I'm digging the MyCarrs that I got from Trinity. I think they look pretty good. Not sure I would want them any brighter.......

I do think that they are solid at night (not great; they are about as bright as stock, maybe a bit brighter). However during the day, the lights blend in with all the surrounding housing chrome. I guess that doesn't really matter though since on my pre-lci Angel Eyes are off during the day, correct?

Correct! Unless you turn them on they won't be DRL's
