after going to the 6th annual socal e60 meet at wheel power in huntington beach, ca i was sold. so early in february i got a hold of them went to their shop and worked a deal for all my mods and wheels. about 20k or so. not a huge amount in the realm of modding an e60, but surely a good chunk of change. so i gave them half down to order the parts:

radenergie r5 20" w/pirelli pzero nero
h&r sport springs
mtech body
front hamann spoiler competition
rear hamann apron for mtech
hamann rear wing
hamann twin dual exhaust
mtech trunk finisher
plus paint and install

then the real fun began. i was told it would probably take a couple of weeks. the problem at that time, as far as the parts went, was for them to get a hold of the mtech parts from their bmw supplier. they might have to wait for them if they were not in stock. then after two weeks nothing. calls to wheel power have since been nothing but excuses for not having parts or reasons not to install.

now my breaking point. about 2 weeks ago i get back on the phone with wheel power and ask what the situation is. their quick response is "the rear apron is customs." so last week i call down there and try to see what the new deal is. the gentleman i've been dealing with was not in. he was supposed to return my call wednesday. never got any call.

so to sum up. i've gotten nothing but a run around from these guys. they have 10k of my money. i have no idea if any parts are on there way or not. it's been a real disappointment and hassle.

Been wondering what's been up with you. Looks like you won't be ready for Bimmerfest. Let me make a few calls and see what's up over at Wheelpower.

when you need something from HAMANN PM ats for M tech Quad_m you guys do not read...

Ok, seriously i am sorry for you and anyways you know it is not only WP fault, burocracy we have nowadays is getting bigger and bigger, customs take time. The fact that they did not called you at all back is not nice, but has only to do with their service... which seems to be ... still needs improvement

i agree with you folks, sometimes things happen where suppliers cant get a hold of parts but i feel being in sales that it is a must to keep your customer informed every step of the way.

Im sorry you are havin difficulty, hope your issues get resolved.

Regards,

It's all about excellence in customer service, looks like Wheelpower over promised and under delivered, not a good thing, especially for a parts giant such as them. Let's see what VT has dug up.

Doesn't hollywoodtrash work there? PM him, perhaps he knows a little more about the problem.

maybe my point didn't exactly come across right in my first post. rjcastr hits the nail right on the head. WP has left me feeling in the dark. i put up half the money for this deal. to be honest, if these guys have told me it would take 3 months and everything will be in and install would be done on such and such a date i'd have absolutely no complaints.
