oh! i know exactly what you mean. My 525i lags like crazy during first and second gear (maybe it just dosnt have enough power!) Thanks for the reply. Let me know how yours goes!

My experience with the SB in my Steptronic-equipped car is that it does not totally eliminate the throttle delay lag but shortens it and dramatically increases power once it comes on (it has no effect on the car's actual power output from the engine but gives a stronger throttle signal to the engine than OEM throttle at the same level of throttle application.
