I did have a sprintbooster before. Obviously, the major difference is the level of control that Velocity allows the user. Sprintbooster is plug and play and never mess with again. It does a great job of what it does. However, you have to have an almost superhuman smooth foot to replicate the comfortable ride of stock. It is just a bit jerkier due to the increased response to the accelerator. I have no problem with this when driving alone, but it can be a tad uncomfortable for passengers. So the velocity allows me to completely turn off the boost with several passengers in the car or for to me set according to how crazy I'm feeling. Level 4 is a ton of fun, but is by no means for everyday driving.

It is more expensive, but in my opinion is well worth it.
Yes there is no question that it takes a real conscious effort to drive the car smoothly with SB and never buck it. I too wish I could disable it with passengers, especially my wife who is not a fan of the bucking. I now almsot never buck the car with her in it but it takes real effort.

But to me, the Velocity is just too damn conspicuous when taking my warrantied new car to the dealer. SB is very stealth. Velocity is open and notorious.

This is true. My car is under warranty as well and I will be purchasing an extended warranty soon. I don't plan on having my car to the dealer too often and this is a 3 minute uninstall job. I have some goo gone in case the 3M tape leaves some stickiness to that panel.

See this site: http://stores.homestead.com/2point5/-strse...IPOD/Detail.bok I believe they send you everything needed and installation directions. The company happened to be located in my neighborhood so they did the install for me.

Nice. The wire seems a bit short for a stealth install. You have light color interior, so it's hard not to see it.
