My Ride: '07 530iSport PackageLuxury Packagemore to come
I went to the wheels shop the other day to order my new wheels and tires only to find out the ones I wanted were out of stock and wouldn't be available for at least two weeks. So, I had to rethink what I was going to do. Pick another wheel or wait. I decided to shop some more and contacted a guy I know that manages another wheel shop. It seems that everything I like is out of stock. He told me about something they have in stock that he recently installed on a 650 that he really liked.
I have found my new wheels, at least from looking at pics. I will be going to look at them next Wednesday to check them out in person and if I like them will ride them home. 20x9 fronts and 20x10.5 rear, supposed to be crazy offsets and very concave that put the wheel flush with the fenders.

I'll withhold passing judgment until I see pics of them on your ride. Wheels are like shoes. Or ties. If you dig them, that's all that matters.

Wow, I am surprised that the responses are so negative. Do they really look that bad?
My first choice was TSW Snettertons. Then I looked at MRR GT1 but after using the software at the wheel shop I thought the spokes looked too thin on them. I don't like for the rotors or calipers to show that much. I thought about the Miro 111 but it seems that everybody has that. Then after talking to a friend that runs another shop he told me about the HR6 and I liked the pictures I saw. Maybe I should just go back to the Snettertons and wait for them to be available.
Part of it is my budget too. I want to stay at about $2000 wheels, tires and all. I see lots of things I like that are 4k plus but that's not an option for me.

I agree with this. I think that a big portion of the forum don't like MY wheels, but I like them -- and that's what matters (though I am looking forward to a set that'll be coming back in stock next month, hehe).
I personally think the design looks fine. It's different, and at the end of the day, isn't that what modding is about? Making the car yours: based upon your preferences.
