You should be good to go ... just go get the p/n 61-12-0-432-110 retrofit wire kit at the dealer (or Garry Romani) cost me less than $39.
Just use the H3 (inner frosted cornering light) as the hi-beam replacement so you wont need resistor to suppress any iDrive hi-beam malfunction warning.
GL John!

Ummmm ... I'm not talkin' 'bout full OEM retrofit that give a full LCI functionality (such as soft on/off and/or cornering lights etc.) ... to my understanding John will do a quick hack retrofit just on the headlight then runnin' HID on the AE and not replacing LCM or even reprogramming.

Seriously? Do you need to have the LCI rear though?

You'll be OK John ...
If you trace inside the headlight of course you'll not find the H7 hi-beam but you should be able to find the Cornering light hire so when you re-do the wiring connect what used to go to the hi-beam into the cornering light.
Use a multimeter to trace & mark the pin out assignment of each pin.

This is the first time I've heard this. I read alot of info and everyone seemed to say I would need reprogramming and lci rears. All I want is the LCI angel eyes and HID lights.

+1 John - if you get this sorted out you definitely need to put together a "no errors" retrofit kit. I think you'd have a blockbuster GB in no time. I'd buy it as soon as I sort out my real estate goings on.

Hey, that's easy. Buy two headlights, the sockets and some resistors and wiring. LOL. It's kinda hard to put the package together.
Okay how about a package without the headlights (I think owners can source those themselves) - But a pkg with HID AE's and resistors and wiring would be cool as hell.
