Just got mine in last night and took a pic this morning. It is a little overcast here in "sunny" florida, but that's the luck of the draw.

Hmmm...So far it seems comparable to the Mtech V3...

Yes at about half the cost, I picked these up for $65 shipped. I have never had the Mtec, but these do flicker on startup.

The Mtec flickers on startup as well.

I would love to do orions, but can't be without headlights that long as this is my DD. So I have to deal with the inferior alternatives.

How long do these last? I've had a pair of 10W CREE and one just died, after 6 months which is a huge PITA to replace on E60.

I don't think anyone can answer this as this particular supplier/brand for the 12 watt has only been available for a few months. I do know that they have a 1 yr warranty, but comletely agree that it is a PITA to replace one.

oops, i missed these are not for halogen pre lci cars.
