Sweet and very tastefully done...It doesn't get much better than this This is a very similar setup I'm going with, unless I decide on a M6 next year...woohoo!
Thank you man. And yes that was on my mind too, but it's like this M5/M6 has very very poor fuel consumption, and that would be kinda ok cuz i don't do alot of miles daily, but the thing is that both are too big for me.

M5 (like my E60) is too big and i don't get to use the space, the 4 doors and very very rare the whole boot.
M6 is a bit more like my taste but, 1 it doesn't justify the extra price, 2 M5 looks better in my eyes.

So i went with my way of going unique with my diesel that's in 95% of the time the whole performance that i need. Remap is close and that would be like a slight "facelift"

As soon as the new M3 comes out, with a revised SMG or DSG, and maybe the CSL version i'll for sure consider it. Till then, let the modding frenzy begin

My work is 5 miles from my house and our other location is only 20 miles so it's a short drive and like you, gas mileage isn't really an issue for me either at this point. But if I'm only getting around 18-19mpg with my 545i, I can only assume what the M5 does to your tank.

I'm averaging 10mpg and that's mostly in P400 mode.

I need to do some manual calculations. Not sure I should trust the computer. I know the electronic dipstick is a POS!

LOL i dunno how much is that exactly but someone here even got 170km with a tankfull, in P500, city drive but quite easy on the throttle. That's roughly 100miles. WITH A TANK! Hilarious !

100 miles? Wow....I guess having a V10 M car comes with it's compromises. But I'm sure it's all worth it when you got a heavy right foot

Of course that was a record some got better fuel consumption.

On the other hand hearing that V10 sing at 8250rpm is...well....let's say you forget about the fuel consumption, at least till you get to the gas station, when you'll be a little more rational, and after that when you start off again, you become unrational again and that's the whole beauty of it.
