....and i think this is only the beginning.

From the start i'd like to mention that this wouldn't have been possible without the help of my friend Attila (ATS77). Thanks man, you're truly great.

Here's the list of the mods:
For whatever reason the uploader doesn't work as it should. At first i thought the pics were too large (aprox 1 MB each) but then i shrunk them to 1/3 that size and still nothing. When i hit upload it starts uploading but soon after the finish it shows nothing and the upload/browse functions disappear.

So i uploaded them in an archive on rapidshare, so here:

    http://rapidshare.com/files/39230103/For_E60.rar.html
    Tell me what you think!

    A little feedback:

After a month now, i got used tot he car and even when pushed hard. There was a big change from swapping the 18" RFT tires with the 20"non-rf tires.

Comfort alone, it's almost the same, but when hitting bigger potholes (obviously not too big), it feels somehow different. Oh the shock is the same but with the big rims it feels more like metal than rubber. On the 18" dumpflats it felt more like wooden shock.

The handling improved alot, the steering offers much more feedback, but i don't know if this is from the new wheels or from the whole new set-up. If special attention it's payed, yes it's true that you loose a tiny bit from the razor sharp response from the run flats (stiff sidewall) but 99% of the time this is unnoticeable, nor it affects in a bad way. The steering improved a lot overall.

Again, i don't know if it's the mix or the anti-roll bars alone, but the car is much more glued to the road with minimal body roll. The M5 anti-roll bars really worth every cent. This is the best thing and the cheapest you can do to improve handling.

From the shocks: it feels they are much shorter and stronger. This feels especially in suspension travel as in when the suspension is heavily compressed. Because of the wider tires, especially on the back, the car is more stable and it gives away much later with DSC OFF. BUT extra care is needed when trying to get the tail out. Because the whole car is much more rigid, the running surface has to be smooth to allow a nice drift otherwise it can fight back really ugly. The tires also have a word here, because they stick much more than the RFs, when traction is re-applied, and because the lack of LSD, the car WILL fish tail quite bad.

I got the chance to test it at higher speeds (top speed ) and there is noticeable more noise. I haven't been able to locate it, but the noise gets worse as the speed build up. Maybe it's the tires, maybe it's from the low profile (that i wasn't used to), who knows?!

So that's about it...i think. More to come

I got the drift. The unloader refuses to upload (although it doesn't say anything, it just makes the attachment option disappear) if the file is in the size limits (as in disk size 300kB-1M but it has a very big pixel size. Mine were at 3648x2736 so the reducing doesn't work at sizes like this. I made them at 50% aspect size and voilla.

    Hope you enjoyed it!

Sadly for my wallet this is just the first step.

    Thank you man!

No sweat. You should see me driving now, sometimes i drive like the old ladies or like some chicks pointed towards the steering wheel, scanning the road for potholes.

And PS: The circuit sucks, as in layout and as in tarmac quality. It's a joke, even i can't drive fast from the bumps, and wheel hopping and stuff, not to think of those monsters from N-GT.

Will try to do so, the only problem that may rise is the fact that once i put the 18" rims back, the car drops with 0.9 cm. And that's quite too low, and lower than already is. Like in that pic attached. Slim chances to arrive in Budapest with the splitter in one piece. Or i'll do the trip in 18 hours
