I thought the kit only included the bumpers and side panels plus a few extra parts. When I opened the box there were a TON of parts inside (wires, internals, foglamps, etc.) as if I was rebuilding the front bumper assembly from scratch. Did anyone else purchase the kit and get all this stuff too?

if it's OEM, I'm pretty sure all corresponding clips, tabs, and brackets are included. AFAIK, it's the rep kits that do not ship all those bits as they have you use your existing OEM ones....could be wrong tho

Gene,

What's odd is I asked my SA for a parts list to do the retrofit a few months back. The list he gave included the p/n for the Aero Kit PLUS all of the additional parts I figured could carry over from what's already there for a total of almost 5 grand. The boxes I opened have all of those "extra" parts and then some. It even included the front bumper carrier - which lists for $350 by itself.

It all sounds right to me.. And even after install you'll have a bucket full of parts.

wonder if he listed pre-lci, not lci...lci m tech kits do require some extra parts compared to pre-lci...

i got the pre lci aero kit as well. i was also surprised but looking at the install manual it made sense. either you or the shop will put all that together. in the end, you'll have a stash of your old oem parts which were replaced by the ones from the kit. hope that helps.
