r9ndy: did chris have to get you longer wires for your e60..as his kits are for e90's....just curious....I think I am going to try his halogen upgrade afterall
GL with the passenger side AE's...chris's c/s seems to be pretty good from what I have read and experienced thus far...

His kits are fine with e60s, the wires are pretty long i still have an extra 1 foot of wire left. Good luck with that kit, i'm sure it will work out just fine

Looks good r9ndy!
Yep ... not only full brightness w/ the headlight on but the AE will be at full voltage power all the time so it'll be brighter ...
I'm not using Chris's kit but using the same relay concept to supply full constant power from the battery terminal.
Here's what mine looked like using relay w/ OEM H8 after the LCI headlights conversion http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=77535 before I swapped w/ GP Thunder 7500K ...

Switch over the driver's side ballast to the passenger side. if it is only that side, most likely something with that side not getting enought ground/power. Check your ground location too. I remember there wasn't a good gound on passenger side under hood. E60 bmw has a special "negative terminal" that looks like some sort of silver hex bolt. It's located on opposite diagonal across the passenger's headlight--right near the driver's shock areas. Again, switch the ballasts and see what happens. if it persists, check your ground. if there is still a problem, mostly likely the relay harness. I noticed the harness has 2 grounds, could possibly that only one side is getting good ground. good luck.
