Lastly, I think you should be a movie producer. Your video's are hilarious! I think it's hysterical how you run to your car after placing the camera down. I also liked the last video where after you drove off, all you could see was blue sky, the nice little neighborhood, the house across the street and to top it all off, you have birds chirping in the background. LMAO!!!!!
+1

ye I went old school E39 540 , I wanted a V8 that I can play around with. I'll be ordering a little kit from VF soon...in stock form its a whole different animal from my previous 525i (power wise that is). I do miss the styling but I'm turning into a power hungry animal.

John,

What are the diameter of those tips? 3" or 3.5 "?

I went on Magnaflows site and found the following. Are one of these the mufflers you got?

1. http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd...main&id=761

2. http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd...main&id=762

Just curious, but you said you paid $215 with install (less tax). Where did you buy the exhaust from? Was it direct? They're asking $266 and $274, respectively.
great job on the mods! do you have a sound clip?

i had a silver e39 myself (530 though). a lot of my friends still prefer the styling of that over the e60. can't go wrong w/ a bavarian 8-banger!
